9/16/02:

We've posted details on the shows page for the events in Washington DC next weekend. Blowback will be playing on Friday Sept 27th noon at Farragut Square, and Sat Sept 28th noon at the Sylvan Theater and 6pm at the Sanctuary Theater. This is the first time we've played DC since April, so we hope to see you there!
Also, this Sunday Sept 22, there will be a memorial gathering held at Sheridan Circle to remember Orlando Letelier and Ronni Moffitt, activists killed in a 1976 car bombing in DC that many link to the Chilean dictator Augosto Pinochet. The event will be M.C.'d by Blowback vocalist Carlos. Click on the flyer to get all the details.

We've also posted a whole bunch of press reviews on the site for our album Track III, check 'em out.  If you want to get the CD, you can find it at Amazon, Interpunk, or right here:

Thanks to everyone who came to see Blowback's Los Angeles shows.   We had a good west coast trip, and some new music will be on the way soon.

We had a great time at the Green Anarchy show in Long Beach.   This tour is winding around the country, catch it if you can.  See greenanarchy.org/tour for details.

We've got a brand new URL to save you a few keystrokes and braincells: BLOWBACK.ORG.   Use it freely and share with others.

Look for Blowback to play in Washington DC in late September.  The World Bank/IMF will be meeting there Sept. 25-29th, and the good people at Mobilization for Global Justice and Positive Force DC and others are organizing activities that will make it a fulfilling weekend for all. If you're anywhere close by, come to town.

Blowback met this month with the US Attorney for the District of Columbia regarding the petitions many of you signed at our shows calling for the indictment of former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet.  READ THE UPDATE
